The Red Green Show was a Canadian television sitcom that aired from 1991 to 2006. The show starred Steve Smith as the titular character Red Green, a handyman and outdoorsman who hosts a public television program from the fictional Possum Lodge.
Other main cast members included Patrick McKenna as Harold Green, Red's nerdy and socially awkward nephew, and Rick Green (no relation to Red or Harold) as Bill Smith, the show's resident expert on everything and anything.
Over the course of the show's 15-year run, numerous recurring characters were also introduced, including Dougie Franklin (played by Bob Bainborough), Edgar Montrose (played by Graham Greene), and Hap Shaughnessy (played by Gordon Pinsent).
In addition to the regular cast, the show often featured guest stars and comedy sketches. The show became famous for its DIY and outdoors-themed humor, as well as its signature catchphrase, "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."
